Nexis Usability Enhancements

On 26 April LexisNexis launched enhancements to Nexis which have simplified the interface and improved navigation. Based on customer research the changes include:

A New Look Nexis - the background colour has been removed leaving a clean white area so your search tools are more visible. We have moved the navigation menu to the left side as is specified in website best practice.

Additional Source Directory Functionality – two key changes to the source directory were released to help you keep track of selected and combined sources:
o The addition of the “Find a Source” search box on each page of the directory
o The addition of “Source Tray” embedded in the source directory

Results View Change – the drop down list on the left displaying results groupings was removed and replaced by an expandable tree making results easier and more transparent to sort.
