LexisNexis, a leading provider of content-enabled workflow solutions, has been awarded with wins in two categories of the ACQ5 2016 Global Awards for the Asia Pacific region:
- APAC – Niche Content and Technology Solutions Provider of the Year (Professional Services)
- APAC – GamechangerTM of the Year, TJ Viljoen
Now in its 11th year, the ACQ5 (Acquisition Finance Magazine) Global Awards recognises companies and professionals that deliver outstanding service to their clients. Award decisions are based entirely on peer nominations, following the receipt of detailed submissions from market participants, as well as extensive research into global markets.
“As the awards are based on industry nominations and peer voting, the receipt of two ACQ5 Global Awards is particularly rewarding,” said Joanne Beckett, Managing Director LexisNexis Australia. “Our commitment, innovation, and focus on our customers is what LexisNexis stands for, and is a direct result of TJ’s ongoing leadership of the Asia Pacific region. I congratulate TJ and the entire Asia Pacific team for its efforts.”
Gamechanger of the Year (APAC) recipient TJ Viljoen said he was immensely humbled to receive the significant award, and proud to have the team acknowledged as well.
“We continually strive to deliver excellence for our customers, by providing ground-breaking and tailored solutions,” TJ Viljoen, CEO LexisNexis Asia Pacific, commented. “In the face of a changing legal landscape with new competitors, as well as regulatory and cost pressures, we understand that our clients need us to evolve with them for growth.”
“This requires looking at new ways of working, investing in more efficient technology, and continuing a partnership with clients to understand how our solutions can best add value to their business. To be officially recognised for this is gratifying indeed, and I am honoured to lead a strong team of pioneers striving for everyday success for our customers.”
The ACQ5 GLOBAL Awards have been celebrating achievement, innovation and brilliance since their inception more than a decade ago, using an independent nomination process to ensure that all of its award winners are chosen by the industry itself. The total number of nominations received in 2016 extended to nearly 75,000.
“With recipients chosen by the industry itself, the ACQ5 Global Awards is a true representation of the world’s best professionals and organisations in terms of achievement, ability and performance. The 2016 ACQ5 Global Award winners always represent the best of breed in the industry and have earned these honours by standing out in a group of very impressive finalists,“ says Jake Robson, Group Editor of The ACQ5. “We are lucky enough to work with some of the most influential and enterprising private organisations in the world and are proud to share their message with our readers. Relying on reader insight and experience to provide nominations to the panel remains the cornerstone of our program and to identify industry leaders, individuals, teams and organizations that represent the benchmark of achievement and best practice in the business world.”
