LexisNexis to continue offering Victorian Reports online

LexisNexis has been the proud publishing partner of the Council of Law Reporting in Victoria and the Victorian Reports since 1957. LexisNexis is delighted to continue our association with the Victorian Reports, and the Council of Law Reporting, as they transition to a new era under publisher Little William Bourke.

From 1 July 2016, LexisNexis will continue to offer the Victorian Reports via our online platforms. LexisNexis is also pleased to have reached an agreement with Little William Bourke to resell bound volumes of the Victorian Reports, commencing with Volume 47.

The legal market increasingly demands integrated solutions for legal materials, and LexisNexis is pleased to meet this customer demand for single platform access to information. By delivering the Victorian Reports via our highly functional online platforms, accompanied by the exceptional research tools that dramatically improve the legal research experience, we are confident in our ability to meet customer requirements.

LexisNexis acknowledges the substantial interdependency that users of the Victorian Reports possess with commentary works and flagship research products – such as CaseBase, Case Citator, LawNow, legal precedents, drafting tools, practice management software, plus access to our extensive commentary, delivered by 2500 expert and renowned authors, including the invaluable Civil Procedure Victoria and Bourke’s Criminal Law Victoria.

“LexisNexis has an unrivalled ability to effectively deliver the Victorian Reports with hundreds of the most used, relied upon publications and exceptional research tools,” comments Laini Bennett, Executive Director – Content Solutions, LexisNexis. “We feel confident that we will continue to deliver the most effective and complete legal research solution required by each customer.”
